Mee ‘Cuz I’m Awesomee! (a report I did for english.)
“At least we’re not pickles in a pickle jar.”
That is what a wise old lamp post told Alyson and her older brother,Romeo, as they exited the park. Es verdad. It’s true.That’s one of the Spanish phrases she knows. She should know more,seeing how her last name is even en español.Most, if not all, of her father’s side of the family can speak it fluently,
including her dad. That’s why she takes it in school, to understand them better.
Speaking of school, it has started, leaving little time to think.On 8 red, she needs to make some new friends toreplace the ones that drifted away over summer vacation.With loads of homework and plenty of school, she can’t evenfind much time for things like art or reading, both of which she loves.During skills, she can’t even rest with her slightly broken clarinetwanting to be played. Not that she cares much seeing as she wouldprobably die without music. During school, she doesn’t like math one bit, and likes social studies a bunch. After school, she has oodles of stuffto do trying to deal with three strange brothers, staying in touch withfaraway friends, abiding by strict rules like no television on weekdays,and thinking about things like the future as Romeo goes off to college.She’ll try to remember she’s not in a jar, waiting to be eaten.Not at the moment anyway.
So, there is a lot about me you (hopefully) don’t know. I have no one favorite badn, but some of my top favorites are Tokio Hotel, Hockey,TRS, Owl City, The Veronicas, and many more. Most people have never heard of any of them (most of them can be abbreviated too :-p ) but I love them. I like most genres of music though,and haven’t heard one that I absolutely hate. I really love music and could not live without it. As you can probably tell, orange is my favorite color. I am taking Spanish due to my heritage, even though I know more than most people in my class. I am Irish (though most people tend not to believe it.),Native American (Blackfoot and Cherokee), and Hispanic(Cuban and Dominican). I love art and most people will agree I am pretty good at it. I absolutely love swimming and art. Any and all art.
I have three brothers named Romeo, Carlos,and Justice. People (my friends) often ask how I got a normal name.To me at least, Carlos is a normal name.My dad, uncle, and grandfather are named Carlos too. Having soo manyfamily members with the same name might seem very confusing but Idon’t see them that much and I say dad instead of Carlos so it’s really only my brother. Thats really all you have to know about my family. Actually, you don’t have to know anything about my family, but you get the point. We don’t have any pets at the moment and probably never will.
